[DKSF 707.1 IU] Page TRAPS web interface

Trap – is an SNMP message, which is generated by a device (an agent) when any event arises. Netping SMS can receive traps, process them and send SMS messages as a result of SNMP trap processing.

On this page of a web interface you can specify rules of SNMP trap messages processing. An SNMP trap message contains a message identificator (snmpTrapOID) and a set of variables. A rule has a source host (Agent), snmpTrapOID, SMS-message text. When receiving SNMP trap a device is looking for a suitable rule, which has a source address and snmpTrapOID indentificator that coincided with the received ones. If there is a suitable rule, then an SMS message will be sent to all phone numbers indicated on the page SMS Settings with the text that was specified in the rule. It is possible to include values of variables from a trap body into the text.

You can create up to 32 rules to for processing trap messages.
