A main page contains brief information about a device (a model, a serial number, a software version) in settings of a web interface. A name of a device – is a domain name of a device, which is configured on the page Settings. It allows to distinguish several Netping devices of the same type. A name is displayed in a header of a web-interface, is sent in syslog messages and is available via SNMP – sysName. A location of a device – is a description of a place of installation of a Netping device. It is configured on the page Settings. In addition, it is displayed in a header of a web-interface and is available via SNMP – sysLocation. Contact data – are an administrator's contact data (usually an email). They are configured on the pafe Settings. This value is available via SNMP – sysContact. A serial number – is a unique identification number of a device. It must coincide with a number on a sticker of a device. A serial number of a device cannot be changed. MAC Address–– is a unique physical address of a device in the Ethernet network. A model of a device – is a name of a model of a device. Software version – is a current firmware version. Hardware version – is a version of a printed circuit board and/or an assembly of the device. Continuous operation time - is equipment operation time from the moment of the last turning on. IP address – is an IP address of a device. A subnet mask – a subnetwork mask of a device.
