[DKSF 54.1 IU] Page LOG web interface

The page represents «Logfile» of a device operation. In «Logfile» all events of a device are recorded chronologically.

All messages of a Logfile are duplicated via a Syslog protocol, if IP addresses of Syslog clients are specified in settings of a device.

As soon as a device contains a built-in nonvolatile clock, the first time tag in «Logfile» equals settings of this clock. If there is an IP address of an NTP server specified in settings of a device, then a device will try to get a precise time and in case of success it will synchronize its internal clock with a precise time. After time synchronization two records will appear in Logfile that represent time lap when resetting a clock to a precise time. In case if a received time after synchronisation with an NTP server is different from time of internal clock for less than 5 min, a clock is not reset. An internal clock pace is changed the way to equal the precise time received from an NTP server after some time. Because of this there is no time lap in a list of events in a logfile, which simplifies its analysis. Events that are registered by «Logfile», are given below.

General Events

Getting Started (reboot) is written into Logfile when turning on a device

Reset...

...clock is written into Logfile if a time, received from NTP, is more than 5 minutes different from time on internal clock of a device. A message is represented in two lines. The first line has a time tag before resetting an internal clock, and the second one is written right after the reset.

Battery power - is recorded into logfile when transferring to battery power

Power from 220V network - is recorded into logfile when transferring to power from electricity

Temperature Sensor Events

Thermo chan.N "XXXX": normal YYC – is recorded into a logfile if a mode of sending SNMP TRAP notifications from temperature sensors is configured, and a temperature on a temperature sensor is within limits specified by a user. N – is a temperature sensor number. XXXX – is a temperature sensor description, specified by a user on the page of a web-interface. YY – is a current temperature on a temperature sensor.

Thermo chan.N "XXXX": above normal YYCis recorded into a logfile if a mode of sending SNMP TRAP notifications from temperature sensors is configured, and a temperature on a temperature sensor has rised above an upper limit specified by a user. N – is a temperature sensor number. XXXX – is a temperature sensor description, specified by a user on the page of a web-interface. YY – is a current temperature on a temperature sensor.

Thermo chan.N "XXXX": below normal YYCis recorded into a logfile if a mode of sending SNMP TRAP notifications from temperature sensors is configured, and a temperature on a temperature sensor has fallen below a lower limit, specified by a user. N – is a temperature sensor number. XXXX – is a temperature sensor description, specified by a user on the page of a web-interface. YY – is a current temperature on a temperature sensor.

Thermo chan.N "XXXX": failure is recorded into a logfile if a mode of sending SNMP TRAP notifications from temperature sensors is configured, and a temperature sensor does not respond (is not connected). N – is a temperature sensor number. XXXX – is a temperature sensor description, specified by a user on the page of a web-interface. When a sensor operation is restored, a message about a status of a temperature range is sent (see above).

«Watchdog» Events

Watchdog: chan.N "XXXX". A (IPA) YYYY, B (IPB) YYYY, C (IPC) YYYY reset– is written into Logfile when Watchdog is triggered. N – is a number of a power supply management channel. XXXX – is a description of a power supply management channel, specified by a user on a web interface page. IPA, IPB, IPC – IP addresses specified in settings of “Watchdog” substitute here. YYYY – is a status of corresponding requested IP address. The following statuses are possible: responds, silent, ignored.

Watchdog: chan. N "XXXX". A limit of sequential reboots is reached (Y). Reboots are stopped.

– is written into Logfile if a limit of sequential reboots of a connected device is reached in a “Watchdog” operation mode. N – is a number of a power supply channel. XXXX – is a description of a power supply channel, specified by a user on a web interface page. Y – is a number of fulfilled sequential reboots of a connected device.

Watchdog: chan. N "XXXX" reset. A response has been received. Reboots have been finished.

Relay Events

PWR: Relay Х.Х Y for Z temporarily - is recorded into a logfile when a relay status is temporarily changed. A combination Х.Х means a line number and a lime memo, Y - is a status (switched on-switched off), Z - time (for example, 5.0 sec)

PWR: Relay Х.Х is switched to Y mode - is recorded into a logfile when changing relay management source. A combination Х.Х means a line number and a line memo, Y - changing manual on/manual off, watchdog management, schedule management, schedule and watchdog management, logic management

PWR: Relay Х.Х Y - is recorded into a logfile with each actual switching, regardless its source (on, off)

PWR: Attention! A relay Х.Х is stuck in Y status! - is recorded into a logfile when a relay fails. A combination Х.Х means a line number and a line memo, Y - status (switched on-switched off),

Syslog Support

All notifications in “Logfile” are duplicated by sending notifications through a Syslog protocol, if addresses of Syslog servers are specified on a web interface page "Settings".

A Syslog-server is convenient to use for a centralized gathering of events that happened on numerous devices and computers, which operate in a network, particularly about events on Netping devices.

Power Supply Events

Battery power - is recorded into Logfile when switching to battery power

Power from 220V mains supply - is recorded into Logfile when swtiching to supply system
