[ENG] 9.5. [DKSF 54.2 IU] Receiving an SMS Notification about Previously Specified Events

To configure SMS notifications on previously configured events, there is a need to go to the page «SMS» of a device web interface:

Events for SMS notifications

In the section «Events for SMS Notifications» it is possible to configure:

Switch to backup battery, battery discharge warning – when a device switches to a backup power, an SMS notification will be sent to destination numbers specified in the section «GSM SETUP» at the page «SMS» of a device web interface. 

Watchdog Events – when a status of a relay is changed, an SMS notification will be sent to destination numbers specified in the section «GSM SETUP» at the page «SMS» of a device web interface if a relay is controlled by the module «Watchdog».

Pinger Events (Loss or Restoration of communication) – when a connection with a checked network host is lost and restored, an SMS notification will be sent to destination numbers, specified in the section «GSM SETUP» at the page «SMS» of a device web interface. In the section «Pinger» at the page «SMS» it is possible to configure an address for checking a network node availability in the field «Address to ping» and a polling period in the field «Polling Period, s (30-9999)»:

Parameters of the operation of the module «Pinger» at the page «SMS» are as follows:

1. A configured address is polled once in a specified period of time (parameter «Polling period, s (30-9999)»);
2. A period of waiting for a response from address is 2 seconds;
3. An amount of repeats of polling the address is 8;
4. If there is no response from a polled host for 8 repeats, «Pinger» informs that a connection with a specified address is lost;
5. If during the next polling period there is a response from a checked host, «Pinger» informs that a connection with an indicated address is restored.

After setting all necessary parameters, click the button «Apply changes».
