A hostname, location, and contact can be viewed on the home page of a device web interface:
where:
Hostname – is a domain name of a device. It allows distinguishing between several NetPing devices of the same type by their names. A hostname is displayed on the homepage and in the heading of a web interface and is sent in Syslog notifications and available via SNMP – sysName.
Location – is a description of a location of the installation of a NetPing device. It is displayed on the homepage and in the heading of a web interface and is available via SNMP – sysLocation.
Contact – is an administrator's contact data (as a rule, an e-mail). This value is available via SNMP – sysContact.
