[ENG] 6.2. [DKSF 54.3 IU] How to Control a Relay in a Web Interface?
RElays can be controlled from the next sources:
- Watchdog;
- Schedule;
- Logic;
- manually, using a web interface;
- using SMS commands;
- using SNMP variables;
- using HTTP API
Starting from the firmware version DKSF 54.3.1, all sources are active simultaneously and equal in rights. One source cannot block another one.
For example, if a relay is switched off by a command from a schedule, it can be switched on again using a rule of logic. The next command of switching on from a schedule can be «idle» if a relay is already switched on by that moment.
Built-in relays are controlled from the page «RELAYS» of a device web interface:
This page allows controlling an output channel (relay) of a device power supply. A channel can be switched on or switched off, or switched on/off for short time.
Memo – is a field for viewing or changing a brief description of a relay. A memo is used in SYSLOG and Log notifications, and is duplicated on the page of the module «Watchdog». A maximum size is 30 characters. On default: empty line
Switch relay – is buttons for controlling a relay from a web interface. It is possible to set the next statuses:
- Off – a relay is switched off;
- On – a relay is switched on;
Short-term switching:
- When clicking a button «On for 15s», a corresponding relay will be switched on for 15 seconds.
- When clicking a button «Off for 15s», a corresponding relay will be switched off for 15 seconds.
Relay state – is a current physical state of a relay. Possible variants are: «Off», «On». Indication of a relay status is updated automatically when changing a physical status of a relay without a need to refresh the entire page.
After setting all necessary parameters, click the button «Apply changes».
