Information in the section applies to the device UniPing server solution v3/SMS with a built-in GSM modem.

If SMS notifications are not sent due to some reasons, and a device is not controlled via SMS commands, it is possible to reboot a GSM modem on the page «SMS» of a device web interface. In the section «GSM Modem Troubleshooting» it is necessary to click the button «Reboot GSM», afterward a modem will be rebooted:

In the field «Last error of GSM modem», the last error of the modem is indicated. To see the current error, there is a need to click the button F5.

After rebooting a GSM modem and its initialization, it is possible to send a test SMS notification by clicking the button «Test SMS»:

As a result, the phone numbers specified in the section «GSM Setup» on the page «SMS» of a device web interface must receive an SMS notification with the text «NetPing SMS Test / Test».
