[ENG] 8.7. [DKSF 52/202.10 IU] What SMS Notifications Can a Device Send?

Information in the section applies to the device NetPing 2/PWR-220 v2/SMS with a built-in GSM modem.

Syntax of SMS Notifications

SMS notification looks like the following:

np_name (q) information

where:

np_name – is a name of a device for the identification of SMS notifications. It is specified on the page «SETUP» of a device web interface. If a name of a device is not specified, then the name NETPING is used

is a consequent number of notifications. The number is non-volatile  it is not zeroed when the power is switched off. It is used for the registration of missed (lost) notifications

Information  is the informational part of SMS notifications

Informational Part of SMS Notifications

A notification about changing a status of an IO line:

IOn=0|1 label transcript

where:

n – is a number of an IO line, 1..4

label – is a label of an IO line that is set in the field «Memo» on the page «DISCRETE IO» of a device web interface. If a label is not set (empty), then it is not included into SMS.

transcript – is a description of a logic level of an IO line, which is specified in the pop-up dialogue for the configuring notifications from IO line on the page «DISCRETE IO» of a device web interface. If a description is not set (empty), then it is not included into SMS.

A notificаtion about the failure of a temperature sensor (a sensor stopped responding while polling):

TEMP.SENSOR n "label" IS FAILED

where:

n – is a number of a temperature sensor, 1..8

label – is a label of a temperature sensor, which is set in the field «Memo» on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface. A label in the text of a notification is quoted. If a label is not set (empty), then it is not included into SMS

A notification about a normal status of temperature within the specified range on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface:

TEMP.SENSOR n "label" IN SAFE RANGE (t1 TO t2), NOW tC

where:

t – is a current temperature, °C

n – is a number of a temperature sensor, 1..8

t1, t2 – are the thresholds of the «normal» temperature range, °C

label – is a label of a temperature sensor, which is set in the field «Memo» on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface. A label is quoted in the text of a notification. If a label is not set (empty), it is not included into SMS.

A notification about the temperature leaving the threshold of the specified range:

TEMP.SENSOR n "label" OUT OF RANGE (t1 TO t2), NOW tC

where:

t – is a current temperature, °C

t1, t2 – are the thresholds of the «normal» temperature range, °C

n – a number of a temperature sensor, 1..8

label –  is a label of a temperature sensor, which is set in the field «Memo» on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface. A label is quoted in the text of a notification. If a label is not set (empty), it is not included into SMS.

A notification about the failure of a humidity sensor (a sensor stopped responding while polling):

REL.HUMIDITY SENSOR FAILED

A notification about the readings of a humidity sensor return to the thresholds of the specified range:

REL.HUMIDITY h% IN SAFE RANGE (h1..h2)

where:

– is a relative humidity, %

h1, h2 – are the thresholds of a «normal» relative humidity range, %

A notification about the readings of a relative humidity rising above the thresholds of the specified range of a relative humidity:

REL.HUMIDITY h% ABOVE SAFE RANGE (h1..h2)

where:

h – is a relative humidity, %

h1, h2 – are the thresholds of the «normal» range of a relative humidity, %

A notification about falling of readings of the relative humidity below the specified range:

REL.HUMIDITY h% BELOW SAFE RANGE (h1..h2)

where:

– is a relative humidity, %

h1, h2 – are the thresholds of a «normal» relative humidity range, %

Notification about switching on/off a built-in relay:

RELAY n "label" SWITCHED ON|OFF

where:

n – is a relay number, 1..2

label –  is a label of a temperature sensor, which is set in the field «Memo» on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface. A label is quoted in the text of a notification. If a label is not set (empty), it is not included into SMS.

A notification about triggering the module «Watchdog» (a socket is switched off for short time to restore the operation of a device connected to it):

WDOG n "label" RESET

where:

n – is a relay number, 1..2

label –  is a label of a temperature sensor, which is set in the field «Memo» on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface. A label is quoted in the text of a notification. If a label is not set (empty), it is not included into SMS.

A notification about changing a status of a status of the Ethernet ports of a device:

ETHERNET LINK STATUS: 1 UP|DOWN, 2 UP/DOWN

A device has a built-in three-port switch with two external ports and one internal port, to which the CPU is connected.

A notification about restoring and losing a сonnection with a specified IP address (the module «Pinger»):

PINGERn (IP/HOST) STATUS: OK|FAILED

where:

n – is a number of the channel of the module «Pinger», 1..2

IP/HOST – is an address of the tested IP address/ DNS name

A notification about the switching of a device to the backup power from a battery (for the device NetPing 2/PWR-220 v2/SMS with a built-in battery):

POWERED FROM BATTERY

A notification about a device switching to the main power from the 220 V electricity grid (for the device NetPing 2/PWR-220 v2/SMS with a built-in battery):

BATTERY CHARGE < 10%

Periodic SMS Reports about a Status of Sensors, IO Lines and Relays

A feature of sending a daily report as SMS notifications about a status of sensors, IO lines, and relays, is implemented in a device. More detailed information about configuring this report can be ready in the section «[ENG] 8.9. [DKSF 52/202.10 IU] Setting the Time of Sending a Daily Report about a Status of Sensors, IO Lines and Relays as SMS Notification».
