Information in the section applies to the device UniPing server solution v3/SMS with a built-in GSM modem.

Syntax of SMS Notifications

SMS notifications look like the following:

np_name (q) information

where:

np_name – is a name of a device for identification of SMS notifications. It is specified on the page «SETUP» of a device web interface. If a name of a device is not specified, then the name «NETPING» is used

is a consequent number of notifications. A number is non-volatile  it is not zeroed when the power is switched off. It is used for a registration of missed (lost) notifications

Information – is an informational part of SMS notifications

Informational Part of SMS Notifications

Notification about changing a status of an IO line:

IOn=0|1 label transcript

where:

n –  is a number of an IO line, 1..8

label – is a label of an IO line, is specified in the field «Memo» on the page «DISCRETE IO» of a device web interface. If a label is not set (empty), then it is not included into SMS.

transcript – is a description of a logic level of an IO line, it is set in the pop-up dialogue for configuring notifications from IO lines on the page «DISCRETE IO» of a device web interface. If a description is not set (empty), then it is not included into SMS.

t – is a current temperature, °C

label – is a label of a temperature sensor, it is specified in the field «Memo» on the page «TEMPERATURE» of a device web interface. A label in the text of a notification is quoted. If a label is not specified (empty), then it is not included into SMS

A notification about of a humidity sensor failure (a sensor stopped responding when polling):

RHn "label" FAILED

where:

n – is a number of a humidity sensor, 1..4

t_status – is a temperature status, its possible values are: «below normal», «normal», «above normal»

label – is a label of a humidity sensor, it is specified in the field «Memo» on the page «HUMIDITY» of a device web interface. A label in the test of a notification is quoted. If a label is not specified (empty), then it is not included into SMS

A notification about the values of relative humidity dropping below a specified range:

RHn "label" h% (below normal h1..h2%)

where:

– is a number of a humidity sensor, 1..4

– is a relative humidity, %

h1, h2 – are the thresholds of a normal relative humidity range, %

label – is a label of a humidity sensor, which is specified in the field «Memo» on the page «HUMIDITY» of a device web interface. A label in the text of a notification is quoted. If a label is not specified (empty), then it is not included into SMS

A notification about the notifications of a relative humidity entering the normal specified range:

RHn "label" h% (normal h1..h2%)

where:

– is a number of a humidity sensor, 1..4

– is a relative humidity, %

h1, h2 – are the thresholds of the normal relative humidity range, %

label – is a label of a humidity sensor, it is specified in the field «Memo» on the page «HUMIDITY» of a device web interface. A label is quoted in a text of a notification. If a label is not specified (empty), then it is not included into SMS

A notification about the readings of a relative humidity increasing the specified range:

RHn "label" h% (above normal h1..h2%)

where:

– is a number of a humidity sensor, 1..4

– is a relative humidity, %

h1, h2 – are the thresholds of a normal relative humidity, %

Periodic SMS Reports about a Status of Sensors, IO Lines and Relays

A feature of sending a daily report as SMS notification about a status of sensors, IO lines and relays is implemented in a device. More detailed information about configuring the time of sending this report can be read in the section «[ENG] 11.9. [DKSF 70/71.6 IU] Configuring Time of Sending a Daily Report about a Status of Sensors, IO Lines and Relays as SMS Notifications».
