[ENG] 9.1. [DKSF 54.3 IU] A Purpose of Discrete Input Channels 1-4 and 5-8

Discrete input channels are digital input lines that can accept only two logic statuses «1» or «0». Usually, alarm sensors or alarm buttons are connected to these lines. All these sensors and buttons can be in only two statuses:  «norm» or «alarm».

The purpose of discrete inputs 1-4 and 5-8 of a NetPing device

where:

Input 1-4 – lines of a device are designed for receiving the information about a status of sensors of a «dry contact» type

Input 5-8 – lines of a device are designed for receiving the information about a status of sensors of a «dry contact» type connected through the 1-Wire interface.
