A main page has brief information about a device (a model, series number, software version) and its network interface settings. Hostname – is a domain name of a device, which is configured on the page Settings. It allows to distinguish several Netping devices of the same type. A name is displayed in a header of a web interface, and is sent in syslog notifications as well as available by SNMP – sysName. Location – is a description of a place of Netping device installation. It is configured on the page Settings. It is displayed in a header of a web interface and is available via SNMP – sysLocation. Contact – is contact data (usually an email) of an administrator. It is configured on the page Settings. This value is available via SNMP – sysContact. Serial Number – is a unique identification number of a device. It must coincide with a number on a sticker of a device. A series number of a device cannot be changed. MAC Address –– is a unique physical address of a device in the Ethernet network. Device Model – is a name of a model of a device. Firmware Version – is a current version of firmware. Hardware Version – is a version of a printed circuit board and/or packaging of the device. Uptime - is time of device operaiton since turning on or the last reboot. IP address – IP address of a device. Netmask – a mask of a subnet of a device. Gateway – IP address of a gateway. After clicking the button Reboot, a device immediately reboots. While rebooting a device, rebooting of connected loads is possible!Information
