A Relay Management

This page allows to manage output channels (relay) of a device power supply for each channel independently. A channel can be turned on, turned off or switched to a mode Schedule/Watchdog or turned off for a short period of time. It is possible to indicate an input, from which power supply channel groups will be fed.

Memo  is a field for viewing or changing a brief description of a socket. A value of this field will be used in Syslog messages and in records that can be seen on the page Logfile. It maximum size is 16 symbols, allowed symbols are Latin letters and numbers. On default: empty line

A relay management is a status of a socket. It is possible to set the following statuses:

  • Manual Off – a socket is constantly turned off.
  • Manual On – a socket is constantly turned on
  • Schedule/Watchdog – a socket is controlled by a watchdog and\or a schedule.
  • Logic – a socket status is managed by a logic module. It is available for the sockets 1 - 4

Schedule – This field sets the schedule channel (Schedule 1 or Schedule 2), which will control a socket.

Watchdog – This field sets which watchdog channel (out of four) will control a socket. Watchdog channels are configured on the page "Watchdog”.  If a Schedule function is enabled for a selected channel, then a watchdog will check availability only when a socket is turned on by a schedule. After turning on a socket according to a schedule, a watchdog will wait for a certain period of time indicated in “Pause after a reset before restarting ping sending, s (1-900)” before starting to work.

Short-term turning off (15 s) – When pressing the button «Reset» a corresponding socket will be cut off for 15 seconds.

Relay Status – A current status of a relay for each socket out of eight ones. Possible variants: Off, On.

Voltage on a socket – Shows voltage availability on a socket. Possible variants: Yes, No.

Status of inputs – A field represents an availability of a voltage on a device's inputs.

Main input – A field allows to set a main input for each group of sockets. Both groups of sockets can be fed from the same power supply input. On default: an input 1 is a main input for the sockets 1 -4, an input 2 is a main one for the sockets 2 – 8.

Switching to a backup input – is a checkbox that allows a group of sockets to switch to a backup input in case of a main input failure. On default: checkbox is not checked, switching to a backup is not performed.

Switch to a backup inputis a checkbox that allows to a group of sockets to switch to a backup input in case of a main input failure.

Automatic switching back to a main input – is a checkbox. If checked, a group of sockets will be forced to switch to a main input after its recovering. On default: a checkbox is not set. Automatic switching back is not accomplished.

Input standby - a field represents a status of a input standby function for each group of sockets. Possible variants: On, Off.
